Meghan Markle's Royal Wardrobe For the Southern Africa Tour Is Off to a Very Stylish Start
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has had quite an eventful year. She's welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and then took a mini hiatus before getting back to work for her and Prince Harry's royal tour of southern Africa.
Starting on September 23, 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began their 10-day royal tour that kicked off in Cape Town, South Africa. Already, we've seen a glowing Meghan letting her hair down, smiling, and dancing with locals while wearing some casual, chic dresses that we've come to know and love her for.
For her first appearance, Meghan wore a fun Mayamiko black-and-white animal-print wrap dress for her arrival in Cape Town. Then, she did a quick change into a blue shirtdress, which she had previously worn for an event in January. We love that despite being a duchess with unfathomable access, Meghan chooses to wear what she feels most comfortable in. For day two, Meghan went super casual with jeans, a white button-up, and a denim jacket - a look that says, she's back to work and feeling great.
On the third day of the tour, Meghan and Harry's son Archie made his first appearance when the royal family met with the city's former Archbishop, Desmond Tutu in Cape Town. For the morning meeting, Meghan wore a silk midi dress from Club Monaco (the "Dremah Silk Dress"), which unsurprisingly is sold out on Nordstrom.com. The blue-and-white printed dress coordinated perfectly with Archie's adorable pale blue-and-white striped overalls.
