Vans Just Teased Its Harry Potter Sneaker Collection, and Dibs on the Gryffindor High-Tops!
It's finally happening, folks: Vans is teaming up with Harry Potter to release a collection inspired by the magical book series, and bloody hell, we can't wait for everything to Slytherin to our closets! The footwear brand teased the forthcoming collaboration by releasing a first look at four of the sneaker designs, which pay homage to each of the Hogwarts houses in one of Vans' classic silhouettes. Gryffindor comes to life in a pair of scarlet and gold striped Sk8-Hi kicks, Classic Slip-Ons emulate subtle Hufflepuff vibes with a badger symbol, Vans Era sneakers get the Slytherin treatment with a snakeskin-like finish, and Ravenclaw's signature blue hue adds color to a pair of checkered Authentics.
On top of these four designs, the Vans x Harry Potter collection will involve additional footwear styles, as well as men's and women's clothing and accessories. I don't know about you, but our fingers are crossed for a metallic pair of sneakers modeled after the elusive Golden Snitch!
For now, the Vans team is keeping its lips sealed on when the collection will drop, but we do know that when it does, all of the items will be available for purchase both online and in stores. Needless to say, wizards, witches, and Muggles alike are siriusly freaking out about the collaboration, as evidenced by the Twitter reactions from Potter-obsessed sneakerheads who are already gathering their galleons in anticipation.
