Kate Middleton's Polka-Dot Dress Is So Good, It's Become a Royal Wardrobe Staple

Kate Middleton just wore the perfect Summer transition dress on her latest royal outing, and it's one she's worn before.

During a visit to Bletchley Park for a special D-Day exhibition, the Duchess of Cambridge slipped into her navy, ankle-grazing Alessandra Rich dress. Recognize this springtime outfit? That's because she first wore it for the special royal family portraits celebrating Prince Charles's 70th birthday back in November of last year. It's such a good dress, she's brought it back again. It's proving quite a popular dress among the wider royal circle, too. We spotted it on Abigail Spencer at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding in May 2018. It seems this particular dress is reserved for special occasions. During her visit to Bletchley Park, Kate was surprised with two bricks on the "Codebreakers' Wall" dedicated to her grandmother and great-aunt, who were veterans of WWII.

Polka dot is a favorite print for Kate. She wore this forest-green polka-dotted LK Bennett midi dress with pearl button details in 2018. The duchess turned to another fashion go-to with her jewelry, choosing her trusty Annoushka pearl earrings.

Ahead, get a closer look at the dress, and yes, we've already added a polka-dot dress to our wish lists.
