35 Stunning Photographs of Fishermen

Inspired by Lenny Wollitz photograph titled “Returning Fisherman“, I decided to create a collection of photographs depicting one of the most ancestral disciplines in human history, fishing.

It is funny how fishing can be a luxurious hobby or the only way of living depending on the social field a person belongs. Thanks a lot, Lenny!

Let's face it, fishing and photography aren't that different. They both require you to scout out the right location, you need to understand what gear is appropriate for the scenario and both require the ability to wait for just the right moment to capture what you came for! Many of us learned to fish by sitting next to an experienced fisherman and being taken by the hand and lead step-by-step through the process.

So to the DSLR Crash Course is like a friendly mentor that will give you the fundamentals to capture the images you want.
